Now watching this on channel 4 and although I now know that low fat usually has more sugar, im shocked at how high fat 'lighter' products are. Very eye opening. Its all in the marketing.
One day these program producers will find out that it's carbs that are the enemy, not just sugar, and that fat overall isn't the big problem that we have been lead to believe.
It was a rather uninformative programme, mostly repeating that low fat can equal higher carbs.
One bit that did concern me though is the inaccuracy of nutritional info on packets regarding the fat content; they were proven to be out by 50% !
I do wonder is the case the same for carb content printed on packets; which of course many of us use to decide the dose of insulin we need to inject.
