Cheese crisps

yes, I leave the rind on. :)

You can also melt cheese in the microwave like BB did in the oven. Cheese squares and slices. But you have to time it very closely. Overdone is vile. Far worse than over-baked.

Oh, and if you hang the still soft microed cheese slice over a rack or wooden spoon handle to cool, they cool and harden to resemble crisp tacos.

Oh my that looks amazing.

I have just nuked a Cheese Pod for 1:20, it seems to have come out alright. Will experiment more later.

Edit: I have just had a taste, crunchy like my late sisters cheese straws she used to make at school cookery class. :D

I like vegimite too. We can't always get it here though.
We always took a couple of jars of Vegimite back to the UK when we used to visit family.

The only place I have seen it for sale in London was just down from Australia House, there was a street stall selling it plus other Australian stuff, but this was in 1984 though so most probably not there now.

I'm in western Canada, marmite is pretty commen. Depending on the store sometimes i find Vegemite. :)

These are my brie puffs
(apologies for the state of the silicon bakeware. does anyone know how to keep silicon looking OK after it has been used a few times?)
The wetness around the puffs is the fat that has come out of the brie during cooking.
The wetness on the wicker is rain, due to me having to go outside and use garden furniture for the photoshoot, in order to get the lighting I needed.

Just cooked up some using a generic brand of cheese slices and grated cheese.

I put the cheese slice at the bottom of a thermostone dish put some grated cheese on top with salt and cracked black pepper, put the other slice of cheese on top.

Into the microwave for two minutes, they are nice and crunchy when they have cooled down.

They are definitely moorish. :D
