I am recently diagnosed T2 and now on LCHF way of life. After years of being told the above foods are bad for me I am now in heaven! Oh and bacon don't forget the bacon. Of course I eat plenty of salad and veg to go with them, and sugar free jelly is my saviour at the moment ( with cream ). After just one week bs down and 4lb off. I think I am gonna like this :)

Great Lizzy... I've found the same result.... My weight is down by 10 kg... and I wasn't even trying!
In some respects, diabetes can be good for you LOL

I just so understand you Lizzy :) - and make sure to fry your eggs in the bacon fats too! - and full fat creams, so lovely ...

So many years with this fat-scare and I now see one after the other of the 'wise' experts out there slowly making a 180 degree turn! - somewhat foot-dragging - have to save face as best they can in the process ...

Personally, after many years with bad cholesterol/lipid panels, only after three months of a fairly low carb/fairly high fat diet I saw lipid numbers to dream about!

annelise

- my grandmother lived to 105, and we were always shocked when she picked the very fattiest choices of meat - now I do the same ...
