2 cup milk ( I use almond milk )
Half cup ground chia seed ( mine are ground in a coffee grinder)
Sweetner to taste
Vanilla essence and / or caramel essence to taste .
I. Put the milk in a blender first, then add sweetner and flavouring .
Add the ground chia seed and blend for a couple of minutes.
That's it !
This makes three 170g ish portions, at 9g carb each . It's best left overnight before eating the first one as it thickens better as the chia seed absorbs the liquid . It keeps for three days in the fridge .
I use small plastic containers with lids, make up a batch and that is breakfast sorted for three days

Edited to add the chia seeds are whole when measuring the half cup !
I sort of make it up as I go along.
But if you google chia pudding you will get a rough idea of liquid to chia seed proportions.
After that, it is really down to your imagination.
Lemon? Orange ? Use juice or essence oil.
Cocoa or peanut? Just stir them in.
Cream? Coconut? Stir in allowing for the liquid volume.
Crushed strawberries in a coconut and cream chia pud would be lovely. Or raspberries, or blueberries...
