chicken pox

Hiya,can anyone tell me if im at risk, my beautifull granson has chicken pox and ive never had them. Am i imune after all my 45 years or am i at risk of getting it? Ani xx

From my experience you are not immune. If I go near a child with chicken pox I catch it. You are only supposed to be able to get it once but I have had it three times now.

The advice is usually that you get it once and next time you get shingles. As I said, I have had it three times and have now been vaccinated against shingles so here's hoping.

So im at risk then? Lol bless him i dont mind shareing his spots with him as long as im not to sick with it. Thank you for ur help
