People who are touchy.......feign indignation at the slightest thing. Hypocrites, bullies and cowards.
Parents who live in fear of their children having hypoglycaemic episodes might have a negative effect on their child's diabetes control, says a new study.

Good provision of psychological support for parents and their children with diabetes is therefore crucial.

Although diabetes is a serious condition, it is also important to remember that having diabetes does not prevent a child from having a normal, happy childhood."

Not having enough time. Broken sleep.
After reading that article I should be a nervous wreck with all Khaleb's problems. Even with all Khaleb's stuff I still treat hypos calmly and have, so far, recognised them before disaster strikes. My biggest fears are leaving him with Carer's as I have discovered that even though you tell them all the things to look for they really don't notice. Even my sister noticed Khaleb lying on the floor yawning again and again and again and did nothing. This is now known as 'hypo denial' which is very similar to 'mouse denial' (you see a mouse, pretend you didn't and don't buy traps or bait until you have a plague.)

Parent's can feel very guilty for things that go wrong with their kids. I consider hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia just a part of having diabetes. I obviously try to limit both of these events but the technology isn't available to erradicate all risks.
