Looking for some advice on statins, I'm currently on Atorvastatin 40mg and these were my recently blood test results:
HbA1c: 72 (made some major diet changes since)
Triglycerides: 1.7
HDL: 1.2
LDL: 1.7
Cholesterol/HDL Ratio: 3.1
Serum Cholesterol: 3.7
Obviously any changes to medication I will discuss with GP first but was thinking of reducing the medication to 20mg and retesting in a few months given my diet and exercise changes. Any thoughts?
