Cholesterol and gp

Well thank you all one thing for certain I've stepped up exercise today. Can but try
 
my cholesterol is high due to triglycerides - the other two are low - exercise & weight loss seem to be the best way to change this - now just to solve my arthritis so I can exercise more

I think high trigs is mostly connected to high carb intake. Mine have gone down significantly.
 
@Bluetit1802 yes, it's strange isn't it, also he was saying that there is a common fluctuation when dieting at 22 min

@9.30 min for the 50/50
@22.30min for the ldl down, then up, then down again, for weight loss
 
This is what I don't understand I've lost over 3 stone my bmi has gone from 35 to 30 Dr very chuffed. I'm on low carb but I do have butter cheese and full Greek yog. And ok I admit it blue cheese sauce at side of salad about two table spoons full maybe twice a week.she said common even though I've lost lots weight I'm so disappointed and just want to lower it quick ad can be.
I don't think loosing weight has anything to do with lowering cholesterol. I am very skinny yet still had raised cholesterol
 
If genetic then then I soppose statins are only way to go
 
Mrs Gimli, you need to get the breakdown figures.

Hypothyroidism can cause raised cholesterol, particularly high LDL.
