my cholesterol is high due to triglycerides - the other two are low - exercise & weight loss seem to be the best way to change this - now just to solve my arthritis so I can exercise more

I don't think loosing weight has anything to do with lowering cholesterol. Yes that is what I was told by my doctor as to the probable cause of mine being raisedHigh cholesterol can also be genetic and little to do with what you are eating.
