I just got these results back and am unsure what to make of it? If anyone has an idea, is my cholesterol ok? Not sure what they mean by Serum Lipids being unusual here and to see a nurse about it. Any ideas on all this, please share your knowledge. Many thanks!

Serum triglyceride levels (XE2q9) 0.75 mmol/L [< 1.7]
Serum HDL cholesterol level (44P5.) 1.44 mmol/L [> 1]
Serum lipid levels (XE2q7)
Serum cholesterol level (XE2eD) 4.3 mmol/L [< 5]
(NOTE)
Non-HDL cholesterol (total chol minus HDL chol) is recommended for
CVD risk prediction; fasting samples are not required for this.
Non-HDL cholesterol targets for patients treated for CVD risk
reduction are
* 40 % reduction from baseline (NICE CG181, 2014) or
* <2.5 mmol/L (JBS3. Heart 2014;100:ii1)
The JBS3 CVD risk estimator is at
http://www.jbs3risk.com/JBS3Risk.swf
Serum LDL cholesterol level (44P6.) 2.52 mmol/L [< 3]
Serum non high density lipoprotein cholesterol level (XabE1) 2.9 mmol/L [< 2.5] - Above high reference limit
Serum cholesterol/HDL ratio (XaEUq) 2.99 mmol/mmol [< 5]
Serum lipid levels Report, Abnormal, Make an appointment to see nurse

On a brief scan they look good to me, but put your values into the link below you can get a bit more context:

They all look ideal to me, too. In fact, better than ideal.

The only one marginally outside the standard range is the Non HDL level of 2.9mmol/l, which your report says should be under 2.5

Serum non high density lipoprotein cholesterol level (XabE1) 2.9 mmol/L [< 2.5] This standard range of under 2.5 is for people being treated for a CVD risk. For anyone else it is under 3.4.

You have nothing to be concerned about.
