Cholesterol Level

No they aren't. If you know the rice is an issue then stop eating it!
 
The American dietary guidelines are likely to be changed this Autumn as the advisory committee came out in Feb as saying that cholesterol is no longer a "nutrient of concern". I don't suppose the guidelines will go that far, we'll have to wait and see.

Food manufacturers who market products as cholesterol-reducing will obviously lobby for caution.

Cholesterol is in every cell and the body makes it. Dietary cholesterol has very little effect according to my mother's GP and various doctors e.g. Dr Kendrick.
