Any advice on recommended best and most accurate meters for self monitoring Cholesterol at home to monitor all lipo's - TC, LDL, HDL, trigs, NonHDLc, TC/HDL etc. or would it be better to leave to be tested by doctor as regular T2 checkups. Normally every 3 months, but doctor already trying to reduce to 6. I've refused!!!

There are home meters available to do such testing, but they, and the matching test strips (usually requiring more than one type of strip to measure the range of lipids our GPs do. Furthermore, lipids tend to be a bit more slow-moving than blood glucose scores, so there is a limited material benefit in doing them too often.

I looked at this myself, as my total is always and inconveniently large number, but the breakdowns pretty good, but actually discounted it as of limited benefit to me. You have to make your own decisions.

Places like BHR Pharmaceuticals or Miller Medical would be where I would start looking, if I were revisiting this.
