cholesterol ratios/levels ?

Can someone point me in the right direction as I'm sure there is a thread (probably several) on here somewhere explaining about the ratio between LDL/HDL and trigs on a cholesterol test ?

I can see from Hubby's latest cholesterol test that all his numbers have altered...LDL down, HDL up and trigs down. His overall cholesterol number is slightly up from last time but the ratios look more 'normal' to me.......only I can't see where the 'normal' ranges are !

That's the calculator I use.. however it does follow "Cholesterol normality" where a high overall reading is flagged as bad which in my view it isn't necessarily depending on the ratios.
