Hi. Just had three month blood test results. Since diagnosis in March HbA1c 52 (March) 41 (July) 34 (Oct).
So far, so good, trying to follow a LCHF diet; and, of course, ignoring NHS dietary advice.
The problem is my Cholesterol is going up - 4.1 Aug last year; 5.8 July; 6.3 October - even though my statin was doubled to 40mg in July (after the 5.8 figure)
After some coaxing, I managed to get these figures from the DN today:
TC 6.3
HDL 1.5
TRI 1.7
No figure for LDL, which is obviously the one I am concerned about.
How do I calculate it from the other figures, and how much of a problem is it?
Thanks in advance.
