More sad news - used to watch many a horror film with him playing Dracula - the old hammer house of horrors with Peter Cushing as well.
Also enjoyed him in the recent Lord of the Rings films.

He was 93

Loved Ron Moody in Oliver as Fagin - he was 91

Oh how sad I had not heard they had died RIP

My son is claiming responsibility for Ron Moody as he watched Oliver again yesterday and Googled him to check he was still alive.

Oh that's sad to hear, they were both such wonderful actors too. Oliver is one of my favourite Musicals and Chrisotpher Lee in The Wicker Man was brilliant casting:nailbiting: Mr Lee was also the Judge at the start idf the film, Sleepy Hollow. Wonderful ages to get too, my dad is also in his early 90's.

RIP

Loved Chris Lee in the Hammer House of Horrors films, must admit didn't instantly recognise Ron Moody's name until I seen the Oliver connection.

CL - One of my favourite actors. And he also won a heavy metal award for an lp he made. Some people are full of surprises. Oh he also had a single in the charts called Jingle Hell which at the time made him the oldest person to have a record in the charts. Must have a quick look on you tube and see if it's on there
