Hey! I have diabetes and my diabetes level always getting low I don't know but why its effect my oxygen level. I consulted my doctor and he said that it is a general cause, and they suggest me to use CPAP for positive airway! But he didn't tell me that how can I clean my Machine! I used to read many guides but I found nothing but in this thread, I just want to know who people are using CPAP how they clean their machine because am using water or shop to clean my CPAP machine and want to reduce the risk of infection.

Does anyone have any idea about how they clean their CPAP Machine?

I take my hose and mask into the shower with me and let hot, soapy water run through them, then rinse them. After my shower I hang them somewhere to dry. I do this weekly.
My water container never gets mucky because I only fill it with purified water.
One thing I always forget is to shake out the dust filter.
The actual machine is electrics and water should be avoided.

I use a Resmed device supplied by the NHS.
The user manual says how to clean it - https://www.resmed.com/uk/dam/documents/products/machine/s9-series/user-guide/s9-autoset-s9-elite_user-guide_eur1_eng.pdf
I think this would apply to all cpap machines.
