So I popped into marks today and I was desperate for a satsuma. They wouldn’t let me have 1 so had to buy a bag!
But I started at 5.3 (my mattessons had dropped me from 5.5 ) and 1 hr 45 mins later and I was a 5.5.

so I seem to be good with clementines. Was only little.

I thought fruit was supposed to be bad?

One small clementine probably won't have a huge impact they are 8.7% carb so for fruit fairly good.
Prob with fruit is the fructose which is about half the sugar in fruit which goes to the liver for processing and might turn to fat contributing to NAFLD. That's one of the main reasons why fruit (especially tropical fruit) isn't recommended.
Small amounts like one should be ok.

I have one every other day. I used to eat somewhere between 5 and 7 pieces of fruit and vedge a day. Now it is one or two. Morrisons sell single satsumas / clementines.

That is the 'thing' about high sugar fruits - you eat them and the sugar is processed as a matter of urgency - and it doesn't show up as a spike. Fructose is the ninja saccharide.

Is that good or bad?
