Dear Forum,
I have been a type 1 insulin dependent for 51 years. I have noticed that over the past few years, my blood sugar levels dip alarmingly during the Spring and Autumn when the clocks go forward or backwards. Has anyone experienced such a thing?? Grateful for any comments.

Hi @TerriH, there was a discussion about this when the clocks changed in March. Have a search back for it - as far as I can remember some people were affected but not all...

Hi @TerriH ,

Welcome to the forum!

I've been at this game myself for 41 years. From personal experience climate change for the warmer/hotter does induce more insulin sensitivity..
I've never thought about the "clock change". Crossing timelines to warmer climes & not having a basal adjustment for when I step off the plane.. I just put it down to dose.
