I am definitely of the thinking that even after huge hard work we are still diabetic but with controlled diabetes, your closer to a cure than another.

Many type 2s lose weight and empty the cells (maybe wrong kind) which prevent insulin working properly.
A fat cell can be emptied but never dies. Once that new cell is born it's in your body for life.
What kills the wrong fat cell?
Nothing I know.

Also depends on how many wrong cells had already been produced as to your ability to put type 2 in remission maybe? Even if you empty them and keep them empty?

I'll have billions. Been type 2 since 6yr old.
This is just my belief and has been reconfirmed with @KevinPotts huge recent undertaking.
I believe @KevinPotts is closer to a cure than me. His hard work shouldnt be in vain.

Iiposuction? Tummy tucks? The more you reduce IR, then the more efficient the insulin is in storing fat again. Catch 22?
