Co codamol making blood sugar levels drop

Hi, My partner has to take co codamol for pain relief. However, this has made his blood sugar levels drop quickly. Is this normal, we've got an appointment with the gp. But wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

not too sure myself -- anytime i have had to take co-codamol my BG's have wanter to run high due to extra stress , and pain
what else is happening ?
were bloods completely normal prior to the pain relief ??

Yes, they're ok then after about an hour they drop low. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced it.

the pain relief really shouldn't drop BG's
is your partner on injections or on a pump ??

and you are sure his last injection is not causing the low compared to carb intake ??
