lots of people on here are going on about coconut oil but i have not seen anywhere selling it for years has anybody got any sugesstions

Just bought some from Waitrose via Ocado, think Tesco may do it as well. Put in a stir fry the other day and it's yummy. Not sure would want to eat it 'raw'.

I source mine in local Asian shops, but not everywhere in the country has that facility.

I use it regularly, for cooking most seem to be ok. However I also eat it direct from the jar, and it does make a difference. The best ones I've found are the extra virgin types from either barleans or tiana. You can get them from amazon. The are not the cheapest, but do taste alot better than the cheaper brands.

I swear by it and purchase mine from a local asian shop. Not only do I cook with it, but it is wonderful for your hair. Massage it in, wrap in warm towel and if possible leave over night and wash in the morning.

I got some from Tesco, they had a couple of makes. The one amongst the 'Ethnic' foods was £1-69 for 500ml, KTC brand and 100% pure coconut oil. About £5 cheaper than the one from the health shop that I have previously bought. I've made the 'almost bounty bars'(yummy!) with it and it tasted just like the dearer one, so I'll be buying this in future.

Can someone please post the 'almost bounty bar' recipe again please, I can't find it.
