That is a lot to have happen to you in your first two decades of life.
My diabetes specialist routinely screens me for thyroid problems as I have a family history of type 1 diabetes and
thyroid antibodies and hypothyroid. My coeliac screen has been negative twice and without symptoms he has decided to wait and see. He has put my chance of coeliac disease occurring at about twice normal, thyroid 4 times normal and mentioned Addison's disease as another possibility .
Apparently 'auto-immunity'' ( the body's immune system targets a particular organ(s) or body system(s) and cause damage) can cause a cluster of conditions if you happen to have the right ( or wrong !) genes and whether something may or may not activate genes to work or not.
I have an adopted daughter with coeliac disease. Hers is related to her being Down Syndrome. I know that gluten free grains tend to have a higher GI than gluten-containing ones and that can make control of blood sugars trickier. I have not seen any research on whether a low carb diet would help Type I diabetics who also have coeliac disease but you could ask your specialists about this. My Best Wishes to you on your journey. Please keep as positive as you can. Resilience is something one acquires through the thick and thin of life. Keep engaged on study, work, hobbies and interests and develop a good network of friends.
And humour is always the best medicine.
