I have a question which I'm hoping someone may help with. I have a 3 year old with type 1 and he was diagnosed last June. We also have a 7 year old ( non diabetic). The last 6 weeks or so the 7 year old has been having a lot of tummy ache and diarehea every other day or so, which I didn't really think anything of. Then this morning he has thrown up 10 minutes after eating his rice krispies :sick: , and had diarehea again :thumbdown: . But after he threw up he felt better but says his tummy still hurts. I would normally just put this down to a bug, but now I'm thinking that could the upset tummy and pain be something else? I'm taking him to the doctor today to see what they say, does anyone here have any thoughts? Could the rougue gene be the same in the boys and cause autoimmune things in them both? Does anyone recognise any symptoms?
