Stopping my 4 cups of coffee a day (a mix of ground beans and spray-dried instant) caused a big 20% average drop in my morning readings.
From the studies that I’ve looked up, not everyone can expect a similar benefit. But if you’re among those whose blood sugar is hugely sensitive to coffee, that’s a major benefit.
My test was to stop coffee for a week, leaving everything else unchanged.
Good luck, all.

What did you have in your coffee, and was it from a coffee shop?

I'm the opposite I never drank coffee before diagnosis and now I have one most days, but with double cream in

I tried to give it up completely - nothing doing. I now have just 1 a day, in the AM with my breakfast. I guess it's a balancing act. Like with everything else in life.
