Cold and raised blood glucose

I have a nasty cold at the moment and have noticed by fasting blood glucose readings have been higher than usual.
I'm usually around 4.7 to 5.2 in the morning but last 3 days 5.7 to 6.0 Has anyone else experienced this ?

Hi Connie, I am sure it's just a one off nothing to do with your cold

Illness can push your blood sugar up a little. I hope your cold goes away quickly and you feel better soon
