Type 2 Cold Feet and smooth legs

I looked up Palmer's with a lot of ingredients unnecessary to skin:

Water
(Aqua), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, Petrolatum, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Mineral Oil (Paraffinium Liquidum), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance (Parfum), ...

On the other hand, 100% cocoa butter is cheaper: https://www.cococare.com/100-cocoa-butter-stick.html

Never used it on the feet before, but will.
Good call. Thanks for the info and I shall certainly give this a go. I have not found any other product that is so effective at stopping my heels from cracking. As I walk in walking sandals half of the year my feet take a hammering and I do take foot care seriously.

Thanks for that info Jo. I defo need to exercise more. I think it can also be an indication of heart issues. Though they have improved I still have work to do on reducing my BG after 4 months and these bits of info are motivating. How do your legs and feet feel with PAD?

Sorry, just realized I didn't reply. You asked so do with this what you will....
One of the first symptoms I felt was claudication in my calves, a burning, cramping sensation brought on by walking, particularly up hill. The discomfort disappears after a couple of minutes rest.
I get buttock and hip discomfort with excess exercise, also some tiredness in my thighs. These feelings I now get after walking half a mile whereas I used to get after cycling 30 miles. I have to say though that I work physically pretty much all day and can keep going.
At rest, particularly sitting for a long spell my feet and lower legs get chilly and my toes can get a bit tingly.
The other thing I get is blotchy / mottled thighs either after getting cold or sitting still for too long. I have noticed this for the last 5 years but only realized it was part of my condition on diagnosis.
I do feel the cold more and had to wear two pairs of socks and long johns while working over this past winter.

I recently started a statin (as it's supposed to help stabilize plaques and prevent them shooting off round my blood stream). The thigh soreness MAY have increased since I started taking them, also I have some shoulder and upper arm pain. I may go back to the docs to see whether there is an alternative statin (or medication) to see if this one is making things worse. I have read and written a fair amount about statin side-effects!

My blood sugars are pretty good. LCHF and lots of exercise.
