I find if my blood sugar is running a bit high for whatever reason I feel really cold but I thought that was just me. I am usually coming down with a cold or something!! Once it returns to normal I am fine.

I am a type 2 but if I am running a bit high I feel warm, when my levels return to my normal which is between the 5s 6s I feel cold! Wierd lol

For me, I always felt too hot in the period leading up to diagnosis when I unknowingly had high bg.
Not so much after starting insulin and getting my bg down to more or less normal levels, but I attributed this to not having high bg all the time, not the insulin in itself.
I still like cold much better than heat though!

Hi BGs for me can feel like I’m wading through treacle..
I wouldn’t say I feel cold though. More like I’ve put in a hard days labour? Especially in my legs.
