coloured lancets? help.

Have now got a contour xt, but the lancets are all colours. Red,Yellow, orange and pink.
can anyone please tell me if they are all different in some way as scared to start using them. it does not mention
anything about their colour in the book.

The colour of the plastic end is completely irrevelent .. its the sharp end that does the work so the thinner that is the better.
 
Theres no difference in the needles as Hobs says, just some manufactures like to produce their lancents in a range of colours. I also like the thiner lancets. Which I believe the thinest at the moment is the BD micro fine at 0.2 mm.
