Hi, I have noticed a couple of "bolus not confirmed" messages on my meter, when checking "view data" (from memory).
Checked the manual, but apart from listing it, I couldn't find an explanation. I think it has occurred for more than one type of bolus.
Can anybody explain exactly what it means? I wonder whether it is waiting to finish the whole bolus? If anyone knows which manual it is described in I would appreciate that.

ThanksJohn.

Have you hit any buttons when you are bolusing? I know that I can stop a bolus if it's an accident by pressing any button in an emergency? But I've never had that message.

is it roche combo pump and meter are you using ?

Based on what I found online, it sounds like it may not have executed the extra bolus because you either didn't confirm it or the command was interrupted for some reason. Testing while a bolus was being delivered seemed like it was one cause of the error.

Are we talking about your pump @mojo_101?

I'm a Omnipod pump user and unless you confirm the bolus dose it won't deliver it.

yes @noblehead and @TorqPenderloin i have had this pump for more than 2 years now so although I may have made a mistake and not confirmed, I would be surprised. (It all tends to be muscle memory/autopilot these days) TorqPenderloin may have something on the did you do anything else question. What website did you find that information on?

Thanks.

Sometimes if u accidentally press a button when after u have confirmed a boule it cancels it.!

Keeping all my pumps in my bra including the Combo, I can feel the pump vibrate as the insulin gets delivered so I know from that. Also, did bg levels go up high as that would be another indicator if insulin hadn't been delivered.

Just checked back, and they are now confirmed, (and definitely did not happen at the time or very soon after) Yes I can feel it as well. To recap, it had not confirmed 15-20 minutes or so afterwards, but has now, so it delayed the delivery and confirmation.
I am going to call the manufacturer to check how this works, and whether it may indicate a problem. Thanks.
