Just a word on your head line GKS Avandia et all , because Clinical Trials are no longer independently scrutinised and because drug development papers cannot be scrutinised .
Because all details about the new drugs being introduced , and those introduced over the last 30 yrs are specified as having "commercial interest " . Drug producers are quite able lie and cheat about ADRs , Fatalities and long term damage , there is a Legal Defence Panel in place which Generic licencees are forced to subscribe , just in the tone of the GMC statement in the Ronnie Powell case . "The GMC is there to protect the Medical Profession and their Insurers ".
I went to the MHRA to get information about Clinical Trials of Novo`s Human Insulin which I know had a 25% ADR Rate , I know personally of 6 people otherwise healthy who died 6 months after starting on it , I was lucky but have suffered 32 yrs serious illness .
