Hi everyone,

My name is Frances Berry i'm a students at Nottingham Trent University I am studying secondary design and technology in education. For my current project I am looking to create a hypo alarm, which is in your clothing by using electronic textiles. Current hypo alarms measure your temperature and sweat levels, but I wanted to know if these really are the most common symptoms of hypoglycaemia.
So could you please tell me the symptoms that you experience when suffering from a hypo?

Many thanks
Frances Berry

Depends on the bg level and how fast your falling, as a rule I start to feel slightly confused, hungry and for some reason always need a pee :).....if I fall too low then it's that clammy feeling, fast heart rate and slight tremor.

No other word for it than "odd". If I'm going hypo I just don't feel right. I often feel shakey, but don't physically shake. I have some difficulty in my motor skills. Nothing extreme, I can hold a cup or write my name etc if required. But I wouldn't trust myself to hold a baby haha

My husband says I just look blank, I have no hypo awareness at the moment so a machine would be good. A few yrs ago if I went low at night I would wake from a really bad dream. Very odd!
