competitions for free contour USB

Hi I am trying to enter the Contour next USB but won't recognise my post code. I am from Australia, is this why. Can only England residents apply....would like some feedback... thank you,. Shezal
 
Pretty sure any of the competitions offered are for UK members only.

I get annoyed too cos im in Australia too.

But I am sure others from the USA, East, Canada, NZ etc probably get annoyed too

In Canada when you buy 100 strips the meter is free. Do the companies do this in Australia as well?
 
Abbot offer free meters. Just got my free style Neo last week.
Bought some ketone sticks as there was nothing in the box apart from the meter and assorted paraphenalia which was a bit annoying as I couldnt use it straight away.

Most of the companies give a cash back voucher, Accu-Chek are the most common in most major pharmacies. I got about $70.00 off of my meter so I only paid $10.00 for it

The price of 100 strips is /was $50.00. Not sure of this price but it what they were going to charge when I bought my meter.

If that code does not work and go to the main page at Accu-Check, and click on the button on the bottom left side, wait for the girl to go for the next frame and this will give you a valid code.

The best thing for the OP is to join the NDSS for subsidised strips, although this has changed since July 1st where you will only get six months supply, then you have to get a doctors note saying you need them if you are non insulin dependant.

You can get a NDSS application form from the pharmacy fill your part in and the take it your Doctor to fill their section in. Then send it off to the NDSS and it's free to join.

Try searching for the meter on a local to you website, there will be some kind of offer.
The Contour Next USB is fantastic meter but the test strips are much too expensive.

I guess I am Lucky as I only pay $1.20 per 100 for test strips. As I am insulin dependant I have no problems using as many as I need.
Thanks for the information re the roche meter, have just ordered one.
