Hi guys and girls.
I recentley posted about my concearns regarding high glucose readings because I have a cold or what seems like a cold
I have had this illness for what seems like months now and I cannot seem to reduce my blood glucose below 10 mmol/l's no matter what I do. I have reverted back to the "Newcastle diet" to try and get it under control but after 3 days of very low calories, my levels remain the same.
I exercise 6 times a week for at least 1 hour, this consists of 3 days weight training and 3 days cardio in total.
This is really starting to worry me because my readings use to be 4-8 mmol/l's after 2 hours eating etc...pretty normal but now things seem too be declining no matter what I do. Not sure if this is a cold or is a result of the glucose levels making me feel rough or the glucose levels are a result of a actual long lasting cold, if you know what I mean?
The worst part is I have mental health issues which cause me major levels of stress and anxiety which I know dosen't help my situation and im worried that my diabetes (type-2) is now progressing to the stage where I may need medication or worse.
Any help and advise to calm my nerves or at least point me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated!
Gabriel
