Confirmed cushings and pre diabetes?

Hi All,
I have confirmed cushings (adrenal) syndrome and see an endo. I recently had a HbA1c test and seems to be increasing every time.
Last results are below which I got from patient access but haven’t seen endo yet. Is the result pre diabetes even though it’s in the normal range?
HbA1c aligned DCCT - normal range 4.5-5.9 - mine was 5.8%
HbA1c aligned IFCC - normal range 26-41 - mine was 40

Just to add I also urinate and drink a lot and have spells during the day where I feel REALLY hungry and have dizzy spells??

So at 40 you are in the non diabetic range. However I wonder if Cushings affects the HbA1c result at all? This is something you’ll have to find out from your Endocrinologist
 
Thanks Rachox. I go to the endo every six months so am sure they will keep an eye on it. I do know that diabetes is quite common amongst cushings patients.... thanks for your help and advice
