Hi all 
just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience and can explain what’s going on?
So my little one had hand foot and mouth. He wasn’t eating or drinking so I took him to the hospital. His blood sugars were 2.1 (uk) so they gave him some gluco gel to bring them back up. So yesterday my friend came over with a blood monitor and tested him around an hour after food. It was 14.8 which was a shock! So I got a monitor. 4 hours after food he was 7.8 so not too bad
This morning before eating he was 5.6
1 hour after breakfast he was 8.3
2 hours after breakfast he was 9.3
Would the virus cause these spikes in his blood sugars?
