Hi,
I am new to this forum so just want some advice please, I have to take meds that pile on my weight no matter how restricted my diet is and doctor will not change them. 3 months ago my sugar level was 49 and the nurse said if the next test is the same i will be diagnosed with diabetes. Well the second test was the same but the doctor said I am prediabetic type 2. I am now confused, the doctor is referring me to the diabetes prevention course but i think it will be by computer as been told there is not one in Cornwall. I am thirsty and go to urine a lot, I bruise very easily, very tired and generally feel unwell. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol so maybe that is why i feel ill. I just want to feel better and not so tired. I am not sure what to think, my diabetic nurse has retired before i had the second blood sugar test, so i have to trust the doctor, but i am getting mixed messages, so any input or advice would be appreciated, thanks
