I would never fry with olive oil it burns I do not fry very often but when I do I use rapeseed oil or coconut oil
Yes but what is best is not of necessity what is cheapest.I think we are having two different conversations the question was what's the best oil to put in a deep fat fryer. The problem with expensive oil is, well, it's expensive. Once it's heated up at high temperatures for an extended amount of time you may as well just burn your money.
