Confused and in denial

Click on the link at the bottom of my signature - it will (in 60 secs) show you the essentials of eating low carb - and since carbs are what send your blood glucose up, then lowering carb intake seems pretty sensible for a Type 2 diabetic. :)

One thing though - often people experience a kind of 'miraculous' weight loss when they go low carb.
But the more hormone issues we seem to have, the slower that weight loss may be. So don't expect weight loss miracles, but allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised :) if you do start losing. :D

Don't forget to click the link - it really is worth it!

Hi @Totto ,
I did a fasting blood test, was worried about my thyroid and cholesterol, so when they came back ok and he said I was diabetic I asked to be retested, he said I didn't need another one. Cholesterol was 5 can't remember thyroid one. I do take levo, 200mg.
Just TSH, I've done a urine sample and that came back fine, nothing showing up. I have a HBA1C BT in May, 3 months from my first fasting BT! Thanks for your help, I find it quite stressful trying to work out if I can eat something or not!! Can I have a mushroom omelette? Is that ok?
I'd look for a better GP if I were you.

I don't think it's possible to diagnose diabetes after a single fasting test. You need a follow up fasting test or HbA1c.
