Confused Newbie

Thanks, very useful paper. Do you know any literature on individuals wearing CGMs and on low carb diet or keto?
I don't know of any work done as you've asked: CGMs seem to have only just registered as far as research goes, but you'll find a lot on keto/low carb with BGs tested by HbA1c. You might speculate about why this is - CGM inaccuaracy, cost, HbA1c being the "standard" test, and so on.

Plenty of stuff arpound on low carb/keto eg

This has a good number of references itself.

Everything else I know is anecdotal - my own CGM use was informative in giving me an idea about what happened while I wasn't testing, or couldn't test - sleeping/exercising, that sort of thing, but was less good (in my opinion) in tracking actual BG values when compared with fingerprick tests.

Thanks, looks like a good read. Yes, I agree that CGM is less accurate but that's why I've started calibrating it with fingerprick tests (not sure if all modeels have this option, I have Dexcom one and they neabled this option only a year ago or so). This is a great feature, and usually by performing a claibration every few days is sufficient to ensure that CGM shows the correct reading (within +/10%). Before calibrating I had situation when I could spot differences as large as 50-60%, which is a lot, and can be very misleading. In any case, CGM was a game changer for me, because once I started to see what potato chips do to my body....there was no way back.
