Confused what type I am :/

I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 8 years ago.. The tablets stopped working an I've now bin put on insulin injects (just insulin injections) well does this mean I am now type 1 as ppl have told me I am an others say no :/ I'm confused ...

probably still type 2 and your pancreas has reduced the amount of insulin you are producing or your resistance has increased so you need a lot more
 
Type doesn't really matter, you're an insulin dependant diabetic.
