I don’t have diabetes but for the last few months I’ve had this shakiness sometimes I get it all day and feel awful and sometimes every couple of hours. It’s only in my hands and legs that feel like jelly so I bought a meter because people kept saying it could be my sugar levels. I’ve found that my sugar levels never really spike the highest I’ve had is 7.8. But sometimes two hours after eating they’ll be in the 4s and I keep being told this is low for two hours post meal? Today no matter what I’ve ate it’s been at 5 or in the high 4s.

Hello and welcome. Your readings seem absolutely within normal to me. I would advise that you see your GP,
taking your readings with you.
Test before the first bite of a meal then two hours after first bite. Record what was in your meal and the readings. The more readings/data the more info these provide for your GP.
If you could, let us know what a typical day's menu looks like, we may be able to help you to tweak your diet to improve the way you are feeling. Best wishes.

Thankyou. I usually have weetabix for breakfast. No sugar or anything just milk. A tuna sandwich for lunch, and then for tea it’s hard to say really as I have all sorts lol. It’s inbetween breakfast and dinner than I seem to get shaky more too!

This is going to sound whacky but it might just work for you, try having a breakfast of eggs, bacon etc. The energy from cereals including the so called healthy options such as weetabix and shredded wheat is used up pretty quickly by the body so by having a brekkie which takes a little longer to digest/metabolise just may help. It may not make a difference to you but it would do no harm to try.

This does not sounds like RH, and all your readings sounds fine and normal.

Feeling shaky in just hands and legs are not what a hypo feels like. You will feel shakiness in the whole body in addition to a lot of other symptoms. Blurred vision, confusion, sweating, loss of consciousness, dizzieness, feeling weak, to mention a few.

Also your blood sugar has to be lower than 4 mmol to even get a mild a hypo, so I think RH are very unlikely.
