Hi I’m a male ,19 years old. In July 2019 my feet started tingling so I went to see my doctor, she check my blood sugar and then order me todo an ogtt. My results came back , my fasting was 127mg\ld , one hour after drinking 75g of glucoses it was at 203mg/ld and two hours after it was at 188mg/ld. I weigh approximately 130 pounds. No frequent urinating,no blurry vision or anything only tingling in my feet and arms and sometime a little numbness. Any taughts or suggestions?

What has your doctor said about diabetes? We can't and won't diagnose here but I can say that those readings are on the high end of normal. I would be surprised if your symptoms were diabetic related, because normally people have years of high blood sugars before experiencing this, but they should definitely be mentioned to your doctor. Once you have diabetes as a factor in your life it's easy to assume that all other symptoms may be related to it - that's simply not the case.

Did your doctor do an hba1c?

Good luck.

I did one back in July 2019 and it was 5.7%. But I did more in October 2019 and it went to 6.9% , the day after I did another one cause I confused and it was 6.7%. Within that 3 month period I was only drinking water and exercising so I was confused how it raised so fast. I then went to a specialist in diabetes , who screened me and told me come back in 3 months which is Wednesday. He suspected that its MODY because of my age and how thin i am.
