Can anyone shed some light on this. It states the sausages are carb free but the ingredients has dextrose in it. So is it carb free or is it too good to be true.

Depends on the sausage! You need to go for better quality ones with a high % meat and then look to see what the rest of the ingredients are and the carb count, most have a couple of grams of carbs per sausage.

Dextrose is a sugar made from corn. You know what they say 'If its too good to be true then .... '

This substance is often added to sweeteners and is put into a lot of processed food.

My suggestion is don't consume any processed meat, sausages, salami, etc. etc. etc.

There's definitely something wrong with their package. It either has no carbs, thus no dextrose or dextrose and thus carbs. Does the company have a facebook page? It's usually the quickest way to get an answer, as anybody can read along.
