constant pains in my legs

Hello everyone. For over 2 years, I have been getting bruise like pains down both sides of my legs (although bruises are rarely visable) which are constantly there and tender to touch. The pain feels similar to when I have just done an injection but the pain remains there all the time, even when I leave that area alone for months. I use both legs and my stomoch to inject but I am quite thin and find it hard to find areas to inject. I do 4 injections a day, 3 rapid and 1 levemir. I do 2 in stomoch and 2 in legs. I mention this everytime I go to my appointment but there doesnt seem to be a solution/explanation. I have recently seen my diabetic nurse who said she has never heard of the problem and that I should see my GP about it. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this or has heard of it. Plus if anyone has any advice on what to do about it, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I wonder if this is partly technique?

What sort of fat layer do you have on your thighs? As I ponder if you'll actually catching the muscle as you inject, this could bruise the muscle and cause pain, you wouldn't see the bruising on the surface of the skin, but still feel the bruising effect though..

I use a pump now, but when I did inject I never bothered injecting in my thighs, as I really don't have enough of a fat layer there, so often hit a vien causing bleeding and hit the under laying muscle..

I always used to inject into the stomach even though I did 6+ injections a day..

Perhaps changing the angle of how you inject, so you don't inject at 90 degrees, but nearer 45 dgrees, this should help to avoid hitting the muscle, or do as I did forget the thigh's and continual to inject into the stomach all the time, as long as you keep moving the injection site around you should get any problems, I didn't...
