Hey guys hope everyone is well.

I've recently been suffering from a chronic sore throat, I'm now on my second dose of antibiotics for 10 days. It's really started to effect my BG levels now for a month. Up until that by BG levels were really good, never above 7 and I was feeling great but now I just feel terrible the past month. It's really starting to effect my life....had to take time off work and effecting my fitness and sport. I feel GPs are way too generic and just hand out antibiotics without really looking into the problem. Has anyone else had such problems or can give some advice!?

Thanks
Conor

Did you get a diagnosis? Strep throat? Tonsillitis? You can get Difflam numbing spray for your throat. I was prescribed it when I had a NASTY case of tonsillitis. It's better than sucking cough sweets/lozenges which I finds exacerbates the problem.

Also maintain good oral hygiene and gargle with mouthwash. If I have something sweet right before bed and don't gargle I swear bacteria feeds on it it and I wake up with a sore throat. Haven't had one for a long long time now,

Hey LittleWolf thanks for the reply.
Have you gotten your tonsils out?
It's tonsillitis AGAIN!! I struggle with it quite a bit, whenever I get a bit run down it escalates to tonsillitis. For some reason they never take them out but I've been told to get my endocrinologist to book me in with a throat and ears specialist.
