Constipation

I only drink decaf. Your suggestion made me laugh though, as when we had a dairy herd, we once had a cow with a similar problem and the vet told us to give it coffee. I'm not sure it appreciated that it was a 200g jar of Gold Blend!

My teenage son was constipated and, in a brainless moment, made him drink loads of strong coffee. He bounced off the walls all night giggling.
Irrelevant, but I was reminded by your cow reference. Did she get hyperactive too?

I think a jar of coffee was nothing given the size of the cow. It certainly loosened her up.
