Continuous blood glucose monitoring (CGM)

Long time ago we had to self fund needles and syringes. Wasn't until the government gave these free to drug addicts they decided that diabetics merited the same. Need to find someone else that needs cgm before we can jump on the bandwagon ;)
 
Speak to your Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Consultant and GP - The GP may wonder what you are talking about because many don't keep up with new technology. They can apply pressure to get funding and get it on the drug tarrif.
The evidence required is bringing to appear that supports the technology - Rodband report on this site last week. More of this will help to get funding sooner
 
My needles have recently got changed to a cheaper company due to funding so I think the system is getting worse, I don't think the NHS could afford this, probably due to the immigration crisis. On another note, I never test, last time I did was last year, this won't benefit me until the cure comes out.
