Contour meters?

I was using a contour next usb. Meter I ran out off strip so I asked my GP for more but thy refused me the as I got it from this site but I'm gonna get the new contour next one is it gonna b the same as the contour next usb metre or is it gonna b different this time

The test strips for both meters you've mentioned are the same.

If you own the Contour NEXT USB meter and are changing to the Contour NEXT ONE meter then they are both different meters, but use the same strips.

Were you refused strips purely on the basis of where you purchased the meter from? I don't know whether you're on medication that qualifies you for prescription test strips, or if you're in the UK, but a lot of T2's do not get NHS funding for test strips. So it may be worth looking into your eligibility for strips before buying a new meter...
 
The next one is the upgrade. They are probably doing you a favour giving you that instead of the one you used to have.

It's essentially the same, but better.
