Self absorbed and rude people! Motorists who are oblivious to the rest of the world, and really don't give a ****!
This may sound really lame to the experienced self tester, however, I have just decided to venture into the realm of self testing, despite my GP's strong recommendation not to. Having purchased the Contour USB at its special offer, it arrived yesterday. It looks somewhat complicated, and having just suffered from really evil sickness virus I am not proposing to try and get my head around it yet. I know there is a page devoted to it, with a video on how to use, but wondering if you experts can offer some quick and wise guide to its use (knowing how wise so many of you are) :?:

I have not handled one, but I would have thought it was 'plug-n-play' .. you plug a new strip into the strip slot and apply a drop of blood from a freshly lanced side of a clean finger tip. Then the electronics do their stuff and up pops the test result numbers on the screen.
It should come with an illustrated instruction book with a step by step guide.

Good luck and in a few days you will breeze through the routine.

Hi - thanks for advice. Yes, it does come with fully illustrated book, lots of info and I have just had this really nasty sickness bug, just seems to much to get my head round at the moment  Maybe, will wait until back in my proper senses :D
