Hi all, I was wondering if I should buy a control solution. I've never used one before. Also are the solutions generic? As in 1 solution fits all strips/devices.

    Nope device specific

You don’t really need it unless you doubt you meter is working

    It doesn’t calibrate if anything

If you want some for reassurance the meter manufacturers will often supply it free. It has a shelf life so keep a check
