Type 2 Control solution

Can anybody please tell me when you use this to check your meter is ok what should the readings be

Depends on what it says on the test strip containers or maybe the control solution container.
For example with my Accu-check Expert it comes with two control solutions (numbered 1 and 2) and on the test strip containers it states what ranges it should show for the each control solution. For my TrueYou meter it has 3 ranges for control solutions.

As you can see each control solution has a number (1 and 2) and on the side of the test strip bottles is the range for each numbered solution - so 1.7 to 3.3 for number 1 and 14.1 to 19.1 for number 2

And when you see just how wide the “acceptable” range is, you realise just how inaccurate blood testing is.
